Description

• Lead the development of frontend applications using TypeScript and React in a large-scale enterprise environment. • Drive the creation and adoption of best practices and frameworks that will be used and consumed by other development teams. • Evangelize and collaborate with other development teams to ensure proper usage and improvement of frameworks, libraries, and tools. • Contribute to building large product codebases with multiple independent teams contributing to the same applications. • Advocate for microfrontend architectures or similar distributed frontend systems, particularly for teams managing large-scale applications. • Establish patterns and guidelines for other teams to adopt and follow, ensuring consistency and maintainability across frontend applications. • Participate in product discovery activities with customers and stakeholders to gain insights, validate hypotheses, and identify opportunities for innovation • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to identify problems, suggest solutions, and drive continuous improvement • Mentor and coach other engineers both technically and culturally, providing guidance and support to help them grow and achieve their full potential • Communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences, using clear and concise language

Requirements

• 4 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or applicable experience • Extensive experience with Typescript and React • Strong experience in large scale TypeScript application architecture • Experience with microfrontends or module federation in a large-scale enterprise environment. • Proven track record of leading development efforts that establish best practices and frameworks used by other teams. • Strong background in collaborating with multiple independent development teams to improve and standardize frameworks and practices. • Experience working with large codebases contributed to by multiple independent teams. • Significant experience developing and advocating for microfrontends or similar distributed frontend architectures. • Proven experience and passion for technical mentorship • Strong foundation in computer science, including expertise in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented software design, and working with cloud-based distributed systems • Experience working in an agile development environment preferred, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and adaptability skills, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in software engineering.
