📋 Description

• Xometry powers industries by connecting people with ideas to manufacturers. • Seeking a principal software engineer for the quoting & pricing organization. • Guide software design for a group of approximately 25 engineers. • Report to the VP of engineering; assist in technology solutions. • Ensure delivery of reliable, high-performance, usable, and secure solutions. • Serve as a mentor and guide to engineers, teaching and mentoring. • Guarantee the Delivery of superior software meeting customer expectations. • Forge partnerships with PMs, designers, and leadership for integrated team dynamics. • Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and practices to enhance problem-solving efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in software development, in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. • Experience with a marketplace product is highly desired. • Strong technical expertise in REST API design and implementation. • Proficiency in Python. • Knowledge of Frontend web technologies including HTML/DOM/CSS, React, and Typescript. • Experience with Cloud hosting services, especially AWS. • Familiarity with Containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes). • Experience in Rust. • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. • Excellent leadership, execution, and communication skills. • A US person (citizen or green card holder).
