Description

• The Finance Manager is a high-visibility position on the Corporate Finance team focused on the reporting, planning and analyzing financial results. • You will help produce insights and recommendations for leadership, support the development of operating plan and financial forecasting, and analyze performance against these plans. • Relying on your analytical and ambitious mentality, you will identify and build real solutions directly impacting Kin’s growth and profitability. • This role presents the unique opportunity to assist in building foundational financial processes, models, and reports that will allow us to grow and scale into the future.

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similarly analytical area • MBA, CFA or Qualified Accountant degree is a plus • Experience in FP&A/Corporate Finance function, preferably within a P&C insurance company, or Audit Accounting covering the P&C insurance industry • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel required • Knowledge of GAAP and preferably statutory accounting practices • Proficiency with complex Financial Planning & Reporting Tool (e.g., Adaptive) preferred • Working knowledge of SQL, Looker, or other data management and reporting tools preferred • Highly motivated and natural self-starter, independent thinker, and team player • Data-focused and creative problem-solver with strong quantitative skills that can spot patterns, trends, and opportunities in data and proactively seek process improvement opportunities • Highly detail-oriented with excellent planning and project management skills • Excellent communication skills; collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
