• Develop and implement cloud strategies aligned with business objectives with a focus on scalable architectures. • Manage containerized workloads with expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift. • Collaborate with teams to deploy cloud-native applications using microservices and APIs. • Integrate security best practices adhering to industry standards. • Monitor and optimize cloud performance for reliability and cost-effectiveness. • Stay current with cloud technologies and recommend improvements. • Lead cloud migration projects and facilitate transitions while minimizing disruptions. • Maintain documentation and promote cloud standards across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or related role, ideally within the financial services industry. • Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure, including services like compute, storage, networking, databases, and security tools. • Proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring of containers. • In-depth knowledge of OpenShift for enterprise-grade, containerized applications and hybrid cloud strategies. • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash). • Solid understanding of network protocols, security configurations, and cloud governance policies. • Good understanding across the Software Development Lifecycle. • Understanding of architectural styles and design patterns. • Experience implementing metrics and KPIs to track performance and progress of engineering initiatives. • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). • Prior experience in leading cloud migration projects within a highly regulated industry. • Familiarity with serverless computing, API management, and cloud-native development frameworks.
