Requirements

• Can-do attitude and a sense of responsibility for the wider implications of software engineering. • A flexible approach is necessary for the role as business requirements and their relative priorities are subject to review and change. • Familiarity with Mainframe functionality such as CICS/On-line screens and concept of batch cycle processing. • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. • Experience with Mainframe programming language a definite plus. (COBOL or Easytrieve) • Proven ability to use SQL to query and manipulate data for analysis and testing. • Understanding of DevOps, Continuous Delivery, and Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) • Working knowledge of API technologies , including the use of Swagger & Postman. • Understanding of UI/UX concepts and the ability to apply them to UI design. • Sound understanding and experience of Agile working practices (a plus). • Automated testing skills (a plus). • Business knowledge of Payment systems. • Knowledge of the Generative AI Platforms. • Experience with application lifecycle management systems (Jira a plus). • Experience with test management systems (Zephyr a plus).
