📋 Description

• Provides vision, leadership, operational direction, and oversight to patient financial engagement functions. • Ensures best in class customer/patient experience while collaborating with operations leaders. • Engages in continuous process improvement to enhance performance and patient satisfaction. • Oversees Enterprise Director of Patient Access for Registration and Clearance. • Provides strategic leadership to the patient financial engagement department. • Makes timely decisions in proactively identifying problems, opportunities, and solutions. • Continuously improves work processes leading system-wide process improvement initiatives. • Monitors data against regional and national benchmarks to improve department performance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, health administration, or related field • 7 years of management experience in healthcare revenue cycle • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related clinical degree (preferred) • Master’s Degree or Professional Certification (preferred) • Experience performing assessments and clinical integration projects in healthcare revenue cycles (preferred) • Record of success managing complex projects with multiple, diverse stakeholders (preferred) • Prior experience with Epic (preferred) • Experience working in an organization of size and complexity comparable to WVU Medicine (preferred)
