We provide a comprehensive range of currency services and products, including our Currency Converter, Market Analysis, Currency Data API and quick, easy, secure Money Transfers for individuals and businesses. • We leverage technology to deliver these services through our website, mobile apps and by phone. • Last year, we helped nearly 300 million people access information about the currencies that matter to them, and over 150,000 people used us to send money overseas. • Thousands of businesses relied on us for information about the currency markets, advice on managing their foreign exchange risk or trusted us with their business-critical international payments. • XE is seeking a senior backend developer to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, the senior backend developer will contribute to building our world-class money transfer product focusing on corporate users. • So, if you have a passion for backend development in C# .NET or, better, full-stack and are familiar with one of the mainstream JavaScript frameworks, we'd like to meet you.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience developing in C# .NET framework, including WinForms • Experience with building RESTful APIs • Experience with AWS services, including serverless services • Ability to solve computer problems in an efficient way • Ability to understand and use data structures • Ability to adapt quickly and develop an in-depth technical understanding of new applications and complex technologies • Strong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to articulate issues • A passion for learning • Nice-To-Have • Experience with Vue.js, React or Angular frameworks • Experience in the finance domain • Experience with Salesforce • Experience with Agile/Scrum • Experience with GitHub CI/CD • Experience with Oracle SQL
