• Define and execute the editorial strategy for Hong Kong market, aligning with global content goals while adapting to local market trends, customer preferences, and industry needs. • Oversee editorial calendar planning, content creation, and distribution across multiple platforms, including websites, apps, social media, and syndication partnerships. • Guide the editorial team in producing search-optimized videos, articles, and multimedia content for Yahoo and its social platforms. • Ensure all content maintains the brand voice, is consistent, and adheres to the company's style guide, while tailoring the tone to the local market as needed. • Collaborate closely with Taiwan and global content teams, regional marketing, product teams, and local stakeholders to align on content initiatives and drive integrated campaigns. • Use data insights and feedback to understand audience preferences, improve content effectiveness, and optimize engagement metrics. • Monitor market trends, competitor content strategy, and industry developments to identify opportunities for new content ideas, formats, and audience engagement strategies.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in media managing roles, preferably within online media, news outlets, e-commerce, publishing with a track record of content leadership at a national level. • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft content that resonates with the target audience. • Deep understanding of Hong Kong’s media landscape, cultural nuances, and audience preferences with the ability to understand the building blocks of strong content and apply those principles across multiple platforms. • Ability to set a vision, prioritize tasks, and make data-driven decisions to meet editorial goals. • Familiarity with digital content management systems, analytics tools, and social media platforms, and audience development best practices. • Sound experience in managing media budgets, analyzing performance metrics, and providing actionable insights for optimization. • Proven track record of successful media campaigns, demonstrating the ability to drive results and achieve business objectives. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across the organization. • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adjust strategies based on feedback and changing business needs. • Strong leadership and team management experience, with a collaborative approach to working across functions.
