Description

• Build and maintain fault-tolerant, high-performance, scalable data pipelines and systems to transform large volumes of data into information for operational and financial decision making • Participate in code reviews and design discussions • Participate in company Data Working Groups to architect data strategy • Understand and anticipate business needs and fix issues reported by customers • Perform continuous integration to ensure that every step of a data pipeline is testable and automated • Lead technical implementations and mentor colleagues • Leverage data engineering industry trends in order to align on best practices

Requirements

• 10+ years of related industry experience • Passionate about data and automation • Deep understanding of modern databases and programming languages (Java or C++) • Experience architecting and maintaining data pipelines • Experience working on data-driven products • Experience leveraging AWS/GCP APIs • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Strong time management and prioritization skills • Team leadership and/or management experience preferred • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent)
