Description
• Collaborate with the newsletters team to shape the future of Yahoo News’ newsletter products. • Develop responsive and reusable newsletter email templates for newsletters using HTML/CSS. • Make technical contributions for newsletter email products: enhancing email tracking and reporting, creating email templates and modules, and improving email personalization. • Design, integrate, and maintain solutions for integrating ads into email.
Requirements
• Experience building responsive email templates/designs using HTML/CSS. • Strong understanding of the nuances of email development across various email clients, devices, and designs. • Can convert Figma designs into code. • Predisposition towards testing and documentation. • Bonus points for any of the following: Proficiency with Javascript, React, and Next.js. • Experience building HTML email templates. • Usage of email platforms such as Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP) or Stensul. • Any prior experience with ads, media, or newsletters.
