Description

• Prepare monthly invoices for program contracts and track receivables. • Produce funder grant and contract reporting • Maintain vendor, funder, and employee profiles • Month end activities, including expense reallocation, account reconciliations, etc. • Maintain accounting files and supporting documentation in secure accounting cloud folders with hard-copy archives as needed • Provide annual budget development support • Support Concur/Ramp expense processing, as needed • Support payroll processing • Assist in annual audit and other fiscal review preparation, providing supporting documentation as requested • Conduct transaction research as needed • Ad-hoc reporting as needed for staff, funders and board • Actively participate in organization-wide committees, meetings and activities, including organizational anti-racism work. • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or Accounting degree, or equivalent experience • Minimum 2 years accounting/bookkeeping experience • Experience and knowledge of nonprofit accounting and financial principles, regulations and best practices • Experience using Desktop version of QuickBooks enterprise-level accounting systems in a secure cloud environment (or other enterprise business accounting application) • Computer literate in Mac or PC Platform; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Applications • Proficient with data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving
