📋 Description
• Coordinate organization-wide guidance and tools for grant applications • Lead writer on grant efforts for Y-USA • Manage approval of federal and private partnership applications • Write various documents needed for grant revenue • Ensure overall reporting complies with donor standards • Track and report progress on grant projects
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required • Master’s degree preferred • Minimum 4-6 years of successful experience related to grant writing required • Minimum 3-5 years of successful federal grant writing experience required • Demonstrated record of success in grant writing and knowledge of the institutional funding community • Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and customer service skills required • Intermediate to advanced skills with the Microsoft Office Suite required • Strong project management and problem-solving skills required • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced work environment required • Commitment to YMCA character development values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility is required
