• You like crunching numbers, are an Excel expert, and can handle financial and administrative matters with diligence. • As a hybrid between media and tech company, we help artists and labels to monetize and distribute their content on UGC platforms such as YouTube and streaming services such as Spotify. • With our proprietary and unique technology and our stellar team, we administer 200,000+ copyrighted works and have paid over 10 million USD to rights holders. • We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Finance Operations Specialist. • This role will play a crucial part in assisting both our leadership team and finance department, ensuring smooth operations across various administrative and financial functions.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles. • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. • Proficiency in Office Software, especially Excel or Google Sheets. • Experience with financial software and databases. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving. • Full working proficiency in English. • It's a bonus if you have knowledge of music industry royalties and licensing, experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), familiarity with data visualization tools, understanding of copyright administration in the digital media landscape, full working proficiency in other languages, especially German, excellent business judgment and strategic thinking skills, and excellent entrepreneurial and creative thinking skills.
