📋 Description
• Design and develop novel AI computer vision models across multiple verticals such as solar, wind, and commercial properties • Develop AI models that operate on a variety of sensor data ranging from RGB to thermal imagery • Develop AI models that operate on a variety of image sources such as drones, fixed wing aircraft. • Collect, organize, and analyze data for machine learning model development • Utilizing cloud technologies such as AWS to train and deploy AI models • Collaborating with and presenting model results to other members of the AI team and other cross-functional teams • Write documentation and tests on how to run, test, and use various models and programs that you develop • Mentor and coach more junior developers within the AI department
🎯 Requirements
• Masters Degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science • 8+ years experience with building deep learning based computer vision models in a professional setting • 8+ years experience with Python, Pytorch, and AWS • 5+ years experience working with aerial imagery and geospatial data • Experience with mentoring and coaching more junior developers • Experience with collaborating with different teams to ensure models meet product specifications • Experience with state of the art AI models such as generative, agentic, or multimodal models • Recent publications in machine learning, geospatial, or similar academic conferences
