📋 Description

• We are currently seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join one of our clients in the machinery industry. • This position is remote, giving you the opportunity to work from anywhere in the Houston TX metropolitan and surrounding areas with travel to client's and customer's site as needed. • As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing machinery and mechanical equipment, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and effectively. • This role involves close collaboration with fellow engineers and cross-functional teams to drive the successful execution of projects at the cutting edge of engineering design and innovation. • You will contribute to the development of advanced solutions for a diverse range of heavy equipment, including cranes, excavators, agricultural machinery, and oil and gas systems, delivering exceptional performance and reliability. • Zen Sherpa LLC is a professional career recruitment firm that specializes in helping our clients find the right fit for their technical and engineering roles.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field of study. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mobile heavy equipment machinery industry. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with cross-functional teams. • Proficient in CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor (preferred), AutoCAD and SolidWorks. • Experience in designing and developing mechanical equipment and machinery. • Knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices.
