Description

• Provide enterprise level software operation and maintenance support for the Air Force metrology and equipment business areas • Use industry standard development practices to design, modify, and develop code • Create intuitive user interfaces and business logic to interact with data • Prepare detailed specifications and documentation to write and evaluate software programs • Participate in technical interchange meetings and design sessions • Use software development best practices to identify requirements and develop solutions • Execute quality controls to meet established software development standards • Foster collaborative, team-based environment and share methodologies

Requirements

• 5+ years related programming and development experience • Will consider applicants with less experience who have demonstrated ability to develop Java-based applications • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Maximo application • Excellent understanding of coding methods • Experience using Oracle Databases and writing in PL/SQL • Self-driven with ability to manage workload without direct supervision • Ability to anticipate potential problems and act to minimize their impact • Demonstrated ability to implement agile development methodologies, tools, and processes
