📋 Description
•Zscaler is looking for an experienced Principal Software Development Engineer to join our Cloud Browser Isolation team. •Design and implement tools for automation of deployment/upgrade of customer rollouts with a focus on minimising maintenance requirements and error prone tasks. •Implement tools and automation to increase developers productivity and act as an advocate for DevOps inside the engineering teams. •Work closely with QA and Engineering to understand, design and implement solutions for the infrastructure that are aligned with the business requirements. •Participate in post-mortem operations discussions, capacity planning exercises to help identify areas of improvements on automation and error reporting/observability.
🎯 Requirements
•10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in tech lead / staff / principal role •Experience coding in the following languages: GoLang, Java or Rust, intermediate experience with python, bash •Expertise with backend systems in large-scale service-oriented architectures •Intermediate to advanced level experience with at least one public cloud platform like AWS, Azure, or GCP. AWS Preferred. •Intermediate to advanced level experience with Linux Operating System and CI & Build tools.
