Description

• Zumper is on a mission to change the way you rent, forever. • To make it easier, faster, and more human—where renting an apartment is as easy as booking a hotel. • Zumper is the largest privately owned rental platform in North America with more than 175 million visits per year. • We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to write the code that underpins every single company initiative, critical to every new product. • You'll write the core services and APIs used across multiple platforms and two major brands (Zumper and Padmapper). • Help craft the next generation of apartment finding technology!

Requirements

• A self-motivated do-er of things and solver of problems • 4+ years experience in a professional engineering environment • 3+ years of professional experience in the following tech stack: React/Redux, Node.js, Javascript/Typescript, Python • 2 - 3 years experience with SQL especially on Postgres • Familiar with the Python libraries Django and SQLAlchemy • Practiced in query optimization and general performance evaluation/tuning • Skilled in the use and implementation of RESTful APIs • Familiar and experienced with asynchronous programming • Proficient behind a UNIX terminal • Experienced with building and maintaining third-party API integrations
