Description

• Assist in financial accounting processes and monthly/quarterly close • Reconcile accounts and prepare accounting reports • Collaborate with teams on COGS allocation • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations • Analyze income statement accounts related to cost of sales • Prepare excess and obsolete inventory analysis • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies • Maintain accurate cost accounting records • Assist with external audits and special projects

Requirements

• Experience with Big 4 accounting firms and CPA preferred • Knowledge of the manufacturing process from raw material to finished goods and cost of sales is preferred • 5+ years related accounting and external reporting experience • Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced and constantly changing environment • Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and current accounting practices. • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively in order to meet tight deadlines, working independently and under a multi-faceted team model • Experience with NetSuite or other large financial systems • Experience with ecommerce, hardware and software business models a plus
