📋 Description

• The position will provide financial strength and technical expertise in supporting the management of the School of Medicine Institutional reserves, endowments, professorships and special quasi funds. • Main responsibilities will include managing operational activities for SOM institutional reserves, ensuring commitments are accurately recorded within a complex database, managing cash flow from various funding sources, developing dynamic reports for Senior Leadership. • The position will also support strategic planning, reporting and financial modeling for SOM Senior Leadership. • The work will entail direct involvement with the SOM Departments Managers and providing them with financial analysis and reporting on institutional commitments.

🎯 Requirements

• Must have strong fundamentals and understanding of accounting, financial management, data analysis and database management. • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required. • Must demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret financial data and present results in concise, accurate and clear manner in reports for management use. • Ability to understand complex processes and evaluate various solutions is required. • Must be skilled in working with large volumes of data and be able to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and independently. • Proficiency in Integrated systems- SAP applications (proficiency with Analysis for Office is added value). • Mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, especially MS Excel/Power Queries, understanding and working knowledge of relational databases such as MS Access. • Attention to detail. • Effective communications skills, both written and oral.
