Description

• At 1Password, we protect important information easily. Over 150,000 businesses use our service. • The Director, Technical Accounting will initially operate as an individual contributor and will own accounting conclusions on all technical topics. • This individual will collaborate with several functions within 1Password. • They will play a significant role in due diligence, integration, and other post-closing tasks for any mergers & acquisitions. • This role will report into the Chief Accounting Officer.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in an accounting role with 2-5 years of people management experience. Preference for experience in a SaaS/technology environment • CPA or CA designation • Excellent communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences • Strong leadership skills with a track record of teaching and motivating others • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP • Bonus: Experience working at a Big 4 accounting firm
