Description

• Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world • Provide Category Ownership across 3M Businesses & Divisions • Drive supplier consolidation, meet cost savings and working capital goals • Minimize total product and process cost, initiate cost reduction efforts • Lead supplier selection and manage external supplier relationships • Identify and implement solutions for complex and multi-faceted situations • Develop strong partnerships with internal 3M stakeholders • Implement and negotiate agreements for complex supply relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution • Seven (7) years of Sourcing, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, and/or Manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment • Experience in Procurement, especially with contract manufacturers • Strong negotiation and contracting skills • Initiative, self-starter with a positive & pro-active approach • Project management experience • Experience successfully collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on complex projects.
