Description

•8x8 is looking for a Solutions Architect to support our CPaaS solutions in the North America market, focusing on Messaging and SMS. •As a Solutions Architect you will partner with the Sales team, be a trusted advisor to our customers, and a CPaaS and Messaging technical expert. •Work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering and Enablement to evangelize the CPaaS platform, understand industry regulations and enable the field. •Drive a technical win by helping our customers understand the value of our CPaaS platform through solution selling.

Requirements

•5+ years of Sales/Solutions Engineering experience with SaaS/CaaS/CPaaS services •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) •3+ years of experience supporting messaging/SMS services •Understand the North American market for messaging, including industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements. •Excellent communicator and presenter across all levels of an organization from C-Level to technical buyer •Modern software development experience (JavaScript, Node.js, Python, etc) •Experience building with REST APIs •Desired Experience building cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and cloud application architecture
