📋 Description

• Provides contributions to the actuarial group based on knowledge from the actuarial exam system. • Mentors Actuarial Analyst colleagues while applying knowledge to complex actuarial analysis. • Researches, extracts, and manipulates complex data from relevant sources. • Maintains knowledge of current industry news and trends. • Commits to professional development and continuous experiential learning. • Provides regular project updates to stakeholders. • Builds trust with teams around the actuarial function. • Actively contributes to the mentorship, training, and development of actuarial analysts.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related discipline. • More than two years of actuarial experience an asset. • Working towards ACAS designation; 4 CAS exams an asset. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, SQL, R, Python and/or other related software/programming languages/actuarial software. • Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments in a timely manner. • Ability to work efficiently and co-operatively in a team environment.
