Description

• Work at Abbott helping people with diabetes manage their health • Lead the end-to-end design process for new products • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs • Collaborate with customers to enhance designs based on real-world needs • Define and maintain scalable design systems • Work closely with UX researchers, product managers, engineers, and data scientists • Elevate the design team’s craft through critiques and collaborative sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design / Human Factors or related field plus minimum of 6 years related work experience • Proven experience designing holistic, end-to-end consumer product experiences • A sophisticated design sensibility shaped by a deep curiosity for design and the world • Experience bringing products from 0 to 1 through intentional iteration • A passion for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies • A relentless focus on understanding user needs and translating into elegant user flows • Expertise in usability and accessibility ensuring designs are inclusive and functional • Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design rationale • A portfolio showcasing recent work, especially in consumer products • Experience expanding design systems for cohesive visual language • Proficiency in Figma
