Description

• Manage the development and implementation process of company's products and services • Estimate project levels of effort and resource requirements using standard estimating techniques • Prepare project plans, schedule and budget using project management tools • Direct project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks and developing contingency plans • Assure project quality by using standard development methodologies and working with SQA • Communicate project status by preparing standard status reports • Resolve project issues by working with team members and project customers • Consult with internal project groups by sharing project management knowledge • Participate in external project management organizations to keep current with best practices • Provide technical leadership to business units, acting as a mentor to less-experienced staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field • Minimum 8 years of project management experience with a thorough understanding of technology functional areas • Extensive knowledge in a specific technological field, utilizing in-depth understanding of business unit functions • Experience in a quality system environment, where inadequate performance can lead to noncompliance with governmental regulations • Strong cognitive skills, capable of tackling complex problems through detailed analysis of various factors • Broad knowledge of various technical alternatives and their potential business impacts
