β€’ This is a full-time, direct placement role at Sunland Asphalt. β€’ The National Business Development Representative is responsible for developing new business relationships and selling pavement maintenance products and other related products. β€’ This position services the accounts generated by those sales and provides additional project management coordination on jobs where those projects are constructed. β€’ Employee shall perform all duties and responsibilities with Sunland's Core Values at the forefront. β€’ Develop, follow up with and maintain new leads, existing customers and key decision makers while developing a sales strategy to strengthen current business ties. β€’ Coordinate meetings between clients/potential clients and technical or other key individuals. β€’ Promote alternative purchasing methods to secure "negotiated" work from agencies. β€’ Establishes strong working relationships with regional and national Sunland operations leaders. β€’ Complies with all required sales processes including operating within approved pricing parameters and maintaining our CRM software (i.e., Salesforce.com). β€’ At the end of the job, ensure that the customer's needs have been met or exceeded and handle issues promptly. β€’ Write change orders promptly, invoicing jobs timely and collecting receivables.

Requirements

β€’ A high school diploma or GED is required; a four (4) year college degree is preferred. β€’ At least three (3) years of paving industry experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. β€’ 6-10 years business development and/or national sales experience in construction maintenance. β€’ Experience with C-Level executives. β€’ Must be a self-starter, possess initiative and be a critical thinker with great time management. β€’ Must be fluent in English, i.e., must be able to speak, read and write English. β€’ Must have a valid driver's license and a clean motor-vehicle record. β€’ Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check is required.
