Description

• The Technical Consultant plays a key role within Accela’s Professional Services team • Leverage software development skills to support project implementation teams • Ensure the success of Accela’s Professional Services projects • Work closely with implementation teams to translate the vision of our Civic Platform into reality • Understand customer needs and provide tailored technical and business solutions • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Business Analysts • Coordinate with team members to deliver technology solutions • Take ownership of end-to-end solution delivery • Contribute to the creation of redistributable packaged solutions • Champion best practices and delivery standards • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and project team • Lead technical and architecture workshops • Communicate effectively orally and in writing

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience • Strong customer-facing skills • Development experience in JavaScript, C#, Java, HTML, Oracle/SQL, and Reporting • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles • Solid understanding of cloud-based platform architectures • Experience discussing and designing cloud architectures • Strong understanding of enterprise application integration, data migration (ETL), and business intelligence • Experience with Web Services, responsive web design, and mobile app development • Knowledge of network, application, and information security principles
