Description

• The Finance Director will play a pivotal role within Accela's FP&A team, overseeing the financial performance • Collaborate with colleagues within the Finance department and partner cross-functionally • Support data-driven decision-making to enhance Accela’s strategic objectives • Work closely with budget owners to ensure the company meets its financial targets • Drive both revenue growth and profitability while maintaining cost control • Empower Finance leadership and the executive team with critical insights and financial information

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field; MBA preferred • 12+ years of experience in FP&A, Big 4 Accounting, or private equity • In-depth experience with Adaptive and working knowledge of NetSuite • Outstanding analytical skills and proven ability to simplify large amounts of data into an actionable form • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience developing and delivering presentations • Advanced knowledge of Excel, proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite • Experience in 3 statement financial modeling • Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously and under tight timelines; flexibility to adjust on the fly to new demands; self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced unstructured environment • Experience working with large datasets, automation, or business intelligence skills • Use of Power BI or other data manipulation and visualization tools a plus • Unwavering ethical standards
