Think of it as an open invitation to embrace the mission of the company, to actively engage in problem-solving; and to take ownership of your work every day. • Acentra is looking for a Business Line Finance Director to join our growing team. • Business Partner to Business Line SVP. • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and reporting for Business Line. • Manages and Mentors Program Finance staff assigned to programs within Business Line. • Develops assignments for Program Finance team to ensure full coverage of programs within Business Line. • May need to perform Program Finance role on a certain number of contracts within the Business Line.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel. • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university. • 3+ years’ experience in Government Contracting (CMS and/or VA is a plus). • Previous managerial experience with a staff of 3 or more. • 6+ years’ experience in financial modelling and/or project controls. • Complete understanding of accrual processes, invoice review and validation are required. • Experience developing and presenting budget and status reporting as well as the ability to present information to senior management. • Knowledge of revenue recognition methodologies. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Experience developing pricing for new business or change requests is a plus. • Background in application software or good understanding of the development lifecycle and environment is a plus. • Experience in pricing strategy, competitive analysis, and bid and proposals for contracts with Federal, State, and Commercial clients. • Financial analysis experience for system integration projects.
