Description

• Acentra Health exists to empower better health outcomes through technology, services, and clinical expertise. • Lead the Way is our rallying cry at Acentra Health. • Acentra is looking for a Deeming Subcontractor (Clinical reviewer for policy & procedures of medical centers) to join our growing team. • Review deeming, redeeming, and/or supplemental free clinic and health center applications against a provided standard for risk management, credentialing and privileging, quality improvement, and claims management to determine whether standard is achieved and identify problem areas. • FTCA redeeming applications typically occurs from April – August. Initial deeming and/or supplemental free clinic and health center applications typically occurs year-round. Free Clinic redeeming applications typically occur September – October. • Accept a minimum of 75 FTCA reviews annually during the redeeming cycle. • Each application can take up to three hours to complete. • All application reviews must be completed within 3 business days. • Attend 100% of annual training sessions, which may be live in-person at HRSA designated location; or virtually as required. • Supply your own Windows laptop with approved virus and anti-spyware protection. • Maintain medium-level security clearance/PIV card and access to HRSA data systems. • Follow all rules and procedures for alerting Acentra Health in the event of loss or theft of laptop on which HRSA VPN software access has been installed by Acentra Health. • Always comply with HRSA’s annual compliance training policies and procedures.

Requirements

• FTCA Reviewer: Experience in healthcare administration • FTCA Reviewer: Eligibility for MBI Clearance • C/A Reviewer: Experience in medical documentation review required • C/A Reviewer: Eligibility for MBI Clearance • FTCA Reviewer: Experience with risk management and quality improvement • C/A Reviewer: Experience with risk management and quality improvement
