• CNSI and Kepro are now Acentra Health! • Acentra Health exists to empower better health outcomes through technology, services, and clinical expertise. • Lead the Way is our rallying cry at Acentra Health. • EAP Consultant performs clinical telephonic assessments and consultations, delivering comprehensive referrals and ensuring diligent follow-up. • Conduct both routine and urgent clinical risk assessments. • Provide management consultation services to various levels of management and human resources. • Display a comprehensive understanding of the organization's customer base. • Engage in additional assigned duties to support internal and external customers. • Schedule: 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM EST Monday - Friday

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required. • Minimum 3-5 years employment in the mental health field where the assessment of mental Illness and substance abuse was a key function. • Knowledge of confidentiality laws and their exceptions. • Understand the concept of the dual client. • Clinical skills to perform a risk assessment and develop an action plan that meets the client's needs. • Knowledge of chemical dependency, indicators of risk associated with withdrawal, and appropriate treatment modalities. • Independent license and CEAP preferred. • EAP experience (2 years preferred). • Some call center experience is highly preferred. • Understand the Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) process and be able to develop an action plan to address immediate customer needs. • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to remain calm in a crisis. • Strong customer service skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to problem-solve, exercise judgment, and make critical decisions. • Strong organizational skills. • Strong interpersonal skills in an environment that requires team effort. • Ability to think creatively. • Self-starter with drive and desire to learn. • Flexible and adapt to change. • Ability to work independently but know when to seek supervisor
