Description

• The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) manages ACE’s diverse finance functions • Oversees all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance requirements • Advises on general financial matters • Maintains financial records and ensures compliance with GAAP • Performs full cycle accounting • Develops monthly financial statements • Works closely with leadership to reconcile accounts and review reports • Reviews grant contracts monthly • Manages all restricted funding activity • Prepares monthly journal entries and performs analysis of general ledger accounts • Develops and manages the internal control environment • Owns the development of Financial reporting for Management and the Board of directors

Requirements

• Masters degree in Finance or Accounting • At least 15 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis with at least 10 years in a non-profit organization • Knowledge of non-profit grants rules and regulations according to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) • Proficiency in financial software applications (Quickbooks), with expert proficiency of Google Suite • Strong mathematical and analytical skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Demonstrable knowledge of regulatory requirements and GAAP principles • Strong analytical skills, including creative approaches to problem-solving • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct • Experience leading or supporting an audit with a nonprofit entity
