Description

• Craft and execute financial strategies aligned with our ambitious growth goals • Lead financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting • Develop and analyze financial models to assess business scenarios and growth opportunities • Wargame business model variations for existing and new customers • Manage cash flow, capital, and financing to fuel our expansion • Collaborate across internal and external teams to drive financial performance and operational efficiency • Provide strategic financial insights to support high-stakes decisions • Grow the finance organization as we scale operations

Requirements

• Proven experience as Director of Finance or similar leadership role, preferably at a start-up or fast-growing company, in the aerospace & defense industry • The ideal candidate has served in a financial leadership role for a start-up that has transitioned from early stage to growth • Strong understanding of the defense industry, its quirks, and the planning, programming, budgeting, & execution process • Expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data-driven decision-making • Experienced in supporting fundraising efforts, investor relations, and managing external financial relationships • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of urgency and adaptability • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and stakeholders
