• Asymmetric Research ("AR") is a boutique security venture focused on deep partnerships with L1/L2 blockchains and DeFi protocols to keep them safe. • We specialize in four core domains of Web3 security: research, engineering, incident response, and infrastructure services. • AR is a fully remote organization committed to open-source values. • Responsibilities include finance operations, tax compliance, financial modeling & analysis, blockchain & Web3 finance, and operational support.
🎯 Requirements
• 3-5+ years of experience in finance and accounting. • CPA certification (or equivalent tax experience) is a plus. • Prior experience handling invoicing, accounts payable, and tax filings for an organization. • Strong understanding of financial compliance and tax regulations in the U.S. (crypto tax knowledge is a plus). • Experience working with bookkeepers and external tax advisors. • Comfortable using financial software, automation tools, and cloud-based accounting platforms. • Interest in or experience with blockchain and Web3 finance (DeFi, crypto payments, on-chain accounting). • Ability to manage crypto transactions and digital asset reporting. • United States-based preferred. • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
