•Advanced Agrilytics is seeking a Regional Sales Specialist (RSS) to join our Iowa Grower Direct team! •The RSS will focus on selling agronomic products and services within a specific region, helping farmers and agricultural businesses optimize crop production, and providing technical support on agronomy-related solutions. •They will play a vital role in connecting cutting-edge agronomy products with farmers and agricultural businesses. •This role is suited for someone with a passion for agriculture, strong sales capabilities, and a customer-focused approach. •Advanced Agrilytics is an agronomy services company focused on unlocking the potential of every acre through direct-to-farm agronomic guidance, unbiased spatial research and sub-acre environment understanding, delivering on the promise of precision agriculture.

Requirements

•Sales Skills: Proven ability to drive sales and build long-term relationships with customers. •Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to understand customer needs and provide solutions that enhance their farm’s productivity and profitability. •Agronomic Expertise: Knowledge of crop management, soil health, and agronomic best practices. •Technical Competency: Proficiency with precision agriculture tools and technologies, such as GPS, soil sampling tools, and yield monitoring software. •Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to clients. •Adaptability: Ability to adjust strategies in response to changing market conditions, customer demands, or regulatory changes. •Four-year Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Business, Agronomy, or related field or Associates degree with 5 or more years of related experience •Preferred minimum 5 years of experience in roles owning full sales process, preferably (but not required) in agriculture-related industry •Willing to maintain or obtain a Certified Crop Advisor certification within 1 year of employment •Preferred candidates have experience selling in an early-stage environment •Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. •Must reside in the U.S.
