• POSITION: Project Manager – HUD Environmental Services • LOCATION: Dallas, TX or Houston, TX • AEI Consultants has an opportunity available for a full-time Environmental Project Manager to perform various environmental due diligence projects within our HUD Services division. • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Environmental reviews • State and federal regulatory program file reviews • Field investigations • Basic understanding of commercial real estate lending and finance • Performance of environmental due diligence projects
• Experience performing environmental due diligence projects, such as Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) preferred • Experience in or knowledge of the Related Federal Laws and Authorities as described under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 • Experience with completing Part 50 and Part 58 Environmental Review Records for local, state and federal agencies • Extensive knowledge and experience in assessing various property types • Experience in evaluating all types of environmental regulatory cases, such as LUST, State Hazardous Wastes, CERCLIS, and NPL sites preferred • Experience with HEROS (HUD Environmental Review Online System) preferred • Excellent writing skills required • Be extremely organized and have great time management and multi-tasking skills • Personable and able to communicate with people at all levels • Willingness to travel if necessary • Must be a self-starter, resourceful, and have the ability to work productively on multiple projects at a time under strict deadlines with guidance from senior staff • State regulatory knowledge preferred • Experience with Phase II Subsurface Investigations and/or Remediation Work is a plus • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Corel DRAW a plus • Experience with managing various vendors and subcontractors preferred • Bidding and project cost estimation preferred
