• AffirmedRx is on a mission to improve health care outcomes by bringing clarity, integrity, and trust to pharmacy benefit management. • Join us in improving health care outcomes for all! • As a Proposal Writer at AffirmedRx, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by applying proposal best practices to respond to various client and prospect requests. • Support the proposal process by drafting, editing, and organizing content. • Typically works on less complex proposals. • Take ownership of assigned proposal tasks, managing day-to-day activities to deliver high-quality work. • Collaborate closely with proposal team members, Sales, Pricing, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). • Establish and manage project timelines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines. • Research prospects to tailor content to their industry, challenges, and culture. • Write, edit, and refine proposal content to ensure clarity, relevance, and alignment with client needs. • Work within a proposal collaboration tool to organize and populate content effectively. • Partner with internal teams to create visually compelling graphical representations of written material. • Format and finalize proposals to reflect AffirmedRx’s brand and professional standards. • Participate in database updates to maintain accurate and current proposal content. • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in proposal development processes. • Support supplemental projects and administrative tasks related to proposal development. • Review and copyedit materials developed by peers and colleagues to maintain consistency and quality. • Ensure all deliverables meet AffirmedRx’s high standards for content and presentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience required • 3+ years of experience in proposal writing, preferably within the pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry • Service-oriented attitude with high personal standards and a hands-on work style • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and shifting priorities with ease • Positive and approachable demeanor, effective in working with diverse teams and personalities • Membership in the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) or willingness to obtain it • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with mastery of English grammar and syntax • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with proposal management tools • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines effectively • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to present results clearly and precisely • Willingness to travel up to 10%
