📋 Description
• This is a remote position. • We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join our team in support of our DoD customer. • The main function of a Solutions Architect is to determine user requirements and design specifications for secure U.S. Government networks. • The Solutions Architect serves as a principal engineer and is responsible to integrate with senior engineering staff in planning and architecting network designs, implementations, and upgrades. • This individual will be working with a wide range of products by vendors such as Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, and Versa Networks and a multitude of other cyber security products that integrate within the overall network architectures of the customer to include legacy network routers, switches, firewalls, and associated cryptographic solutions such as HAIPE and CSfC. • Responsibilities Include: Develop and configure Software Defined Network (SDN) architecture (i.e., SD-WAN and SD-LAN) that replace legacy IP based routing architectures. • Analyze and make recommendations to adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands. • Support network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades. • Assist in design for equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems. • Review and approve solutions for network problems. • Review and approve conceptual, logical or physical network designs. • Develop procedures to track, project or report network availability, reliability, capacity or utilization.
🎯 Requirements
• US Citizenship is required. • Must have a current DoD Top Secret clearance. • Bachelor's Degree. • 15+ years of related experience. • Cisco CCNP DoD 8570 IAM/IAT Level III certification.
