📋 Description

• Define and maintain the overall technical vision for assigned solutions in alignment with Enterprise Architecture • Act as a subject matter expert and technical consultant to engineering and business teams • Engage with senior R&D, Product Management, and business stakeholders to ensure architecture meets critical business needs • Participate early in the project lifecycle and remain engaged throughout execution • Identify cost-effective, technically sound solutions to meet business problems and stakeholder needs • Document solution architecture using Clario’s “Views and Beyond Architecture Documentation” methodology • Support architecture implementation through proof of concepts and development oversight • Assess and address quality attributes such as performance, scalability, security, and maintainability • Ensure solution design aligns with Clario’s Enterprise Architecture and escalate deviations to the Architecture Council • Mentor and train colleagues within the architecture and engineering teams • Define and enforce “security-by-design” principles across solution components • Ensure compliance with privacy laws, security regulations, and customer data protection standards • Document data processing flows and security strategies across storage, transmission, and usage • Participate in technology selection, strategic roadmap development, and architectural governance • Support development and adherence to R&D processes and documentation practices • Conduct peer reviews of solution architecture and related artefacts • Track emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability in Clario’s digital transformation journey • Serve as a quality gatekeeper for architectural standards and a consultant on design artefacts • Communicate architectural vision clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field • Cloud certification (e.g., AWS or Azure Architect) – desirable • 5+ years of experience in software development • 5+ years of experience architecting full stack solutions • 2+ years of AWS or Azure architecture and delivery experience – desirable • Excellent communication and deep analytical skills • Proficient in UML 2.1 • Experience with Enterprise Architect (Sparx Systems) – desirable • Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and infrastructure automation • Experience designing Kubernetes-based architectures and deploying applications to the cloud • Expertise in platform technologies, serverless, distributed data stores, and IaaS • Strong grasp of identity and access management, encryption, and PKI • Familiarity with ITIL and standard service delivery models • Understanding of data center infrastructure, networks, and related technologies • Experience with Clario products or equivalent clinical trials domain – preferred • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and software engineering frameworks • Proven ability to create technology roadmaps and operate across multiple abstraction layers (strategy to implementation)
