Description

• Agility Robotics is looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead the product development of Digit, our bipedal mobile manipulator robot. • Manage the End-to-End Product Lifecycle: Oversee the full product lifecycle of the robot, from initial concept and design to development, testing, launch and support. • Define Product Requirements: Serve as lead owner of product level requirements for the robot (Hardware and on-robot software). • Roadmap Management: Develop and manage the product roadmap, balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic goals. • Prioritize Features & Backlog: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, evaluating trade-offs based on various factors. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the key liaison between teams, ensuring alignment with product vision. • Customer pilot support and iteration: Ensure customer pilots are aligned with the roadmap and lead the iteration process for each release cycle. • Product launch: Develop product launch deliverables in collaboration with marketing and commercial teams. • Work with a Remote Team and Department: Collaborate effectively with remote teams across multiple time zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MS, PhD) a plus. • 6+ years as a Product Manager, preferably in robotics, AI, or complex products that combine hardware and software. • Managed lifecycle of multiple products from ideation to implementation to post launch adoption. • A strong customer focus for understanding customer needs and translating them into clear, concise, and actionable product requirements. • Strong experience in tactical execution—breaking down high-level goals into detailed, actionable features and managing them through to completion. • Experience building and prioritizing feature-centric product roadmaps. • Experience writing Product Requirement Documents and Jira initiatives/epics for feature definition. • Experience managing a product backlog and iterative software releases. • Analytical skills to quantify impact of features and utilize data for prioritization. • Experience in both traditional waterfall (HW) and Agile development (SW). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment (engineering, design, marketing, operations, sales, etc), and leading without direct authority. • Go to Market experience taking a product through launch strategy, defining value proposition, pricing, and promotion. Experience managing beta engagements. • Capable of delivering content to support product launches and tools for sales. • Experience developing financial models (ROI, TCO, pricing models, forecasts) • Great communicator and presenter, capable of presenting to executive stakeholders and customers. • Developed and managed multi year product roadmaps.
