📋 Description

• AgroFresh is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Corporate Accountant • This role is critical, responsible for contributing to key corporate accounting processes • Ensure accurate and timely month-end close activities • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations • Strong understanding of accounting principles and proven track record of improving financial accounting efficiency and accuracy

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a Corporate setting • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Experience working in a manufacturing company, preferably specialty ingredients or specialty chemicals • Prior work experience in a global, matrixed, organization • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and identify opportunities for improvement • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus • While remote, candidates in Eastern or Central time zones are preferred • Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and AP automation software is highly desirable • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level required - pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
