• The Director of Financial Partnerships, Card Schemes APAC will play a critical role in developing and delivering Airwallex’s financial infrastructure • This role involves executing end-to-end strategy, implementation, and executive relationship management across all card scheme relationships in APAC • Leading a group of geographically diverse and seasoned regional experts • Ensure our financial services partner network with card schemes is world-class • Manage the entire lifecycle of partnerships from strategy to signing through implementation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership across the company
Requirements
• Experience working in Fintech/Payments/Corporate Banking supplemented with a background in tier-1 Consulting/Investment Banking • Executive relationships with card schemes providers in Asia Pacific would be a plus • Expert in crafting and executing on thoughtful partnership and product strategies with card networks at scale • Fascinated with the global financial ecosystem, embedded finance adoption, and globalization of enterprises • Exceptional communicator who can connect with people at all levels • Exhibit strong product instinct and can identify opportunities to leverage partners’ and Airwallex’s existing and future products • Strong negotiation skills and can hustle to make multiple complex deals work parallel across regions • Experience effectively managing a lean yet high-performing team across different time zones
