• Monitor and analyze information systems and network activity for potential cyber events and incidents. • Detect, report, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and potential threats under general supervision. • Assist in maintaining and improving integrated cyber defense strategies to protect organizational assets. • Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of security toolsets and practices to support continuous monitoring and authorization programs. • Establish and maintain frameworks for measuring and quantifying cyber risks across the organization, contributing to marketplace risk analysis. • Ensure compliance with organizational cybersecurity policies and procedures. • Provide support in identifying vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies. • Collaborate with other IT and security teams to ensure security measures are in place and functioning as expected. • Stay updated on current cybersecurity threats, trends, and industry best practices.
• 12 years' experience with Master's degree; will consider 14 years' experience with Bachelor's degree or 18 years' experience with no degree • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and tools for monitoring and detecting cyber events • Experience in initiating, supervising, and/or developing project requirements from inception to conclusion for complex or extremely complex programs • Ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to project teams and organizational staff • Knowledge of continuous monitoring, dynamic cyber defense, and risk management frameworks • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
