📋 Description
• Aker Systems delivers secure cloud hosted solutions into the public and private sectors • Rapidly expanding to hire a Solution Architect to support product delivery • Good blend of HLD and LLD design experience around Security, Data, Cloud, Service and Solution • Client facing to simplify complex designs for customers • Research and develop high level and detailed solution designs • Monitor technical deliverables against the designs • Contribute to technical Change Requests • Maintain solutions against Non-functional requirements • Support solution option analysis and provide architectural recommendations • Collaborate with DevOps and application development teams
🎯 Requirements
• A UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance is required for this role • Minimum of 5 years living and working in the UK • At least 12 months Central Government experience in the last 5 years is strongly preferred • Skilled in designing distributed, event driven systems • Platform and application development • Recent design experience on AWS, Azure, GCP or hybrid environments • Knowledge of agile development and modern CD/CI approaches • Understanding of security design integration into solution design • Extensive experience in designing and delivering platforms and managed services at enterprise scale particularly bespoke software solutions, especially in streaming and cloud-native solutions • Solving enterprise data and analytics problems using technology • Hands-on Public Cloud experience in either AWS/Azure/Google • Working in sensitive data environments
