📋 Description
• Develop guidelines, standards, integration framework, and procedures for managing Redshift and RDS databases • Design, implement, and monitor databases, schemas, tables, and associated data objects • Focus on optimizing performance and efficiency • Create regular maintenance procedures to ensure the stability and reliability of the database clusters • Leverage AWS design principles and relevant services to enhance the efficiency and performance of the data applications • Devise and execute on the DR strategy, ensuring platform high availability
🎯 Requirements
• 5 years of Database administration experience in any RDBMS systems, Redshift • 5 years of experience working with AWS services EC2, S3, Lambda, Athena, AWS Glue, Lakeformation, SNS, Load Balancers (ALB, ELB, NLB), IAM, VPC, Subnets, Cloudwatch and Route53 • Experience writing Terraform to provision and manage AWS cloud infrastructure • Experience writing scripts using Python, Ruby, YAML or Shell scripts to automate tasks • Good understanding of Authentication/Authorization concepts like SSO, PING • AWS Certified Solution Architect certification
