Description

• Unified Communications Technical Manager role to lead strategic initiatives at Alight • Lead current strategic initiatives and drive workplace productivity • Maintain global enterprise architecture for collaboration environments • Determine architecture for corporate SIP trunking environment • Work with security team to implement secure collaboration • Set technology standards for conferencing • Oversee provisioning and deprovisioning of accounts • Manage UCC vendors for cost effective services • Manage enterprise SIP trunking solutions • Monitor and troubleshoot voice and video media quality • Lead number and dial plan management for voice systems

Requirements

• Completed a program typically requiring four years of post-secondary education or higher • 10-15 years’ experience in unified communications or telephony • 2 to 3 years of team management experience • Experience with enterprise telephony and collaboration architecture development • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Teams administration • Voice quality analysis and problem resolution experience • Experience with network infrastructure technologies • Network experience with VLANs and subnets, DNS/DHCP, Proxy servers, Firewalls, SD-WAN, QoS • Grasp of QoS in a voice and video environment • Experience with VoIP protocols, including SIP, RTP, WebRTC
