Description

• Conducts depositions and examinations under oath and prepares summary documents • Prepares witnesses and clients for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials including expert witnesses • Keep claim business partners updated on status (initial client contact, initial litigation plan, recurring contacts, strategy conferences, pre-trial, etc.) • Contacts clients to discuss their case and answer any questions • Review new file assignments, all documentary evidence, and approve initial pleadings, propound discovery, and/or develop strategy • Investigate and pursue subrogation litigation as appropriate • Draft post-trial motions • Try and/or arbitrate cases by preparing motions, motions in limine and summary documents in limine • Conducts settlement/dispositive proceedings (e.g., mediations, arbitrations, etc.) • Prepares and conducts court appearances (matter management conferences, hearings, status conferences, etc.)

Requirements

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Required) • Juris Doctor (Required) and member in good standing of the Georgia State Bar • 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)
