Description

β€’ Responsible for recruiting and contracting blue chip and large brokers to market to large employer accounts β€’ Seek strategic alliances with insurance companies, banks, credit unions, and associations to compete for workplace products β€’ Makes qualified calls on groups with blue chip and large brokers β€’ Stays current on sales and marketing techniques and on changes in state and federal law β€’ Recruit, train, motivate, and develop brokers throughout the territory β€’ Contribute to effective relationships between the brokers and home office departments β€’ Analyze specialized markets, formulate recruiting programs, and implement effective marketing programs β€’ Work with brokers to help bring value to their existing book of business and develop new opportunities β€’ Terminate non-producers according to company standards

Requirements

β€’ 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred) β€’ 10 or more years of experience (Preferred) β€’ In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. β€’ No Certification, License or Registration is required for the job. β€’ Advanced knowledge of individual and group products as well as payroll allotment and Section 125 β€’ Strong sales, communication and relationship building skills β€’ Strong work ethic β€’ Professional designations, such as CLU and ChFC are desired.
