β€’ Title: Director, Bold Ventures β€’ Location: Remote β€’ Status: Independent Contractor β€’ Salary: $50,000-75,000 (with commission, potential annual salary of $150,000+) β€’ Reports to: Jessyca Dudley, Founder + CEO β€’ Desired start date: Q1 2025 β€’ About Bold Ventures: Bold Ventures is a strategic advisory firm that supports individuals, families, foundations, and donor communities who are committed to eliminating disparities through relationship, repair, and the redistribution of wealth. β€’ The Director will focus on networking for new business and referrals along with leads sourced by the CEO, providing start to finish strategy and support for client engagements. β€’ The Director will have full access to the Bold Ventures team for camaraderie, collaboration, and thought partnership. β€’ The Director will represent Bold Ventures externally, needing a values-aligned leader who can skillfully represent the organization to partners and the public.

Requirements

β€’ Passion for and a belief in Bold Venture’s mission and point of view is a must β€’ Proven track record of securing new business, building strong relationships and partnerships, and meeting or exceeding performance goals β€’ At least five years of professional experience, preferably in environments with a focus on sales, business development, and owning relationships β€’ Success managing multiple projects from start to finish with key deliverables and outcomes β€’ Ability to leverage an established network of individuals and families for partnerships and referrals; having a diverse, multigenerational network is a plus, as are corporate contacts β€’ Knowledge of reparations and wealth distribution best practices and strategies is a plus, but not required; however, a desire to learn and a willingness to genuinely endorse these pillars of our work is a must β€’ Ability to prioritize, work independently, and identify the best course of action across all work streams β€’ Experience serving as a trusted advisor and external representative to partners and broader audiences β€’ Excellent verbal and written communications skills across various mediums, including the ability to have difficult conversations yet still inspire and motivate others to partnership β€’ Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to move work forward or pivot with limited or incomplete information β€’ A customer service orientation that holds/centers both client satisfaction and team capacity
